About Me

Me

I am a music education student at Kansas State University. I play the clarinet in the Marching Band and Wind Symphony. I am the current marching and maneuvering section leader for the KSUMB Clarinets. I was previously the assistant section leader for the 2015-16 Marching Band season, and have been section leader in both Concert Band and Wind Symphony. I have also had the pleasure of being a student conductor for University Band, and participated in Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band and Clarinet Choir, sung in Women’s Choir, and have played both flute and percussion in University Band. I am a member of Tau Beta Sigma and Sigma Alpha Iota. In Sigma Alpha Iota, I acted as recording secretary and social media chair. I also served as the Secretary for K-State’s NAfME Collegiate chapter.

I am very involved in the music department, and am incredibly passionate about music. I am also passionate about education, and hope to teach elementary/middle level music or beginning band. I want to instill the same passion I have for music into future generations.
